A mountain ridge vista scene created with Unreal 5 and Lumen/Nanite. My goal for this project was to build up a large landscape scene as quickly as possible using procedural methods. I set a deadline of one week and was able to accomplish this in five days.
I used Gaea 2.0 to create heightmaps for use as non-destructive landscape stamps, and created a PCG graph to place the trees, rocks, and grass onto the landscape procedurally. I leveraged Quixel Megascan assets for the terrain blends, as well as the rock and ground foliage assets. The spruce trees were created by Dekogon Studios. I am responsible for the locomotive, bridge, and rail assets. Thanks to Unreal Sensei for their very nice landscape material master.
